Celebrate St. Patty’s Day with HOF ‘91 pitcher Ferguson Jenkins, at the 3rd annual “Fergie & Friends” Celebrity Baseball Game presented by PhxMesa Gateway Airport. Join Fergie and other Hall of Famers and all-stars for an evening full of fun – an exhibition baseball game for charity, plus autograph session and on-field meet & greet with the players. Be sure to bring the camera!
Fergie’s “friends” in 2009 were Hall of Famers Billy Williams, Rollie Fingers, Juan Marichal, Bob Feller, and Harmon Killebrew, plus Football Hall of Famer Bobby Bell and Basketball Hall of Famer Meadowlark Lemon. Other All-Stars in attendance were Dave Stewart, Bert Campaneris, Ozzie Virgil Jr., John Mayberry, Bernie Carbo, Jody Davis, Tommy Davis, Bob Dernier, Keith Moreland, George Foster, Randy Hundley, Tommy John, Dave Kingman, Pete Lacock, Rick Miller, Amos Otis, Tommy John, Bill Buckner, Glen Beckert, Jay Johnstone, Lee Smith, Jon Warden, Willie Wilson, Steve Trout, and Dave Kingman. (Check the website www.fergieandfriends.com for the up to date roster.) The game will be held at Mesa HoHoKam Stadium (1235 N. Center Street, Mesa 85201) on Wednesday March 17th. Game time is 7:10 pm. Gates open at 4 pm. It’s just $10 for a general admission ticket (includes souvenir game program). Or $25 for a VIP ticket that includes admission, souvenir program, VIP meet & greet and on-field photo opportunity with the celebrities prior to the game, and seating in a reserved VIP section. Group tickets are available.
